Course image Terminology
Second Stage

Students should know how medical terms are created, Use basic medical prefixes and suffixes accurately, Defines directional terms and anatomic planes of the body, Identify selected body systems structures and their related word parts, Define medical terms related to selected diseases, Define selected diagnostic and surgical procedural terms for each body system, And spell, pronounce and use specific medical terms.

Course image histology
Second Stage

histology

is the study of the microscopic anatomy (microanatomy) of cells and tissues. Every cell of tissue type is unique, based on the many functions an organism carries out. Histology uses advanced imaging techniques to analyze and identify the tissues and structures present. Both light microscopy and specialized systems such as electron microscopy are used to visualize the tiny structures present in specially prepared tissue samples. The histology of different tissues can be used to identify unknown tissues, provide clues to the function of tissue or cells, or even identify disease in the cells of an organism.
IN the 2nd year we give the systemic  histology ( all major body system )

Second Stage

Students in the 2nd stage will take theoretical lectures, supported by practical notes inside laboratory. They will take anatomy of head, scalp, face, oral cavity, neck. Then will take the whole central nervous system ( Anatomy of brain & spinal cord. Then anatomy of the abdomen( including the abdominal wall + cavity with their viscera: stomach , intestinal anatomy, liver, pancreas & spleen. Then neurovascualr system of the whole abdominal cavity. Then anatomy of pelvis( including the bony wall + viscera of pelvis ( urogenital organs with their neurovascular supply).

All the lab.s will discuss all these subjects through PPT topics, followed by Virtual table + plastic mannikans.

Course image physiology
Second Stage

reparing students to study and understand medical devices by clarifying physiological changes, especially

Electrical ones, which are when the various organs of the body perform their function and their relationship to the devices that are used

It is used to measure and diagnose various disease phenomena

Course image Biochemistry
Second Stage

Biochemistry is the science that deals with the discovery or design of new therapeutic chemicals and their development into useful medicines. It may involve synthesis of new compounds, investigations of their relationships between the structure of natural or synthetic compounds and their biological activities, elucidations of their interactions with receptors of various kinds, including enzymes and DNA, the determination of their absorption, transport, and distribution properties, and studies of the metabolic transformations of these chemicals into other chemicals.
