The quality control refers to all activities that are done by manufacturers and construction contractors to meet the requirement of specific codes and standards. The quality control personnel are direct employees of the manufacturers and construction contractors and using the word inspector for a manufacturer or construction contractor employee is not correct.

Power generation plants are systems that converts the energy source into mechanical and further into electrical form.  Such conversion system is based on the turbo-generator set, which is a combination of turbine connected (directly) to an electrical generator for the generation of electric power. The main plant components are turbine, cooler, pumps or compressors, heat generators or head pressurizer, energy source, and many other auxiliaries required to improve plant performance The types of turbines are steam, gas, water and wind turbines. All of these turbines work on the same principle, where the working fluid entry under specific conditions spins the output shaft.
